Dicht bij de restaurants van de Champs-Elysees, zijn we begonnen met het restaurant Music Hall, dat met een knal startte in 2004, en dat vervolgens in alle pers werd besproken. En het is waar dat men onder de indruk is van de stijl als men binnenkomt in de zaak. Een grote ruimte waar men ontvangen wordt aan een enorme trendy lounge bar.
Het decor dat Parijs avant-garde is, is supermodern, en is helder wit in de schijnwerpers: op de muren, op de comfortabele stoelen, de hagedissen van chocolade en de gekleurde geütiliseerde lampen. De heldere houten vloer, de bruine bankjes en het plafond geven een warme sfeer aan het restaurant. Het is zowel trendy, chic, uniek, en op hetzelfde moment, eenvoudig en vriendelijk, heeft geen franje, niet hautain en u wordt begroet met een glimlach, en iedereen is welkom. Het complete decor werd ontworpen door Valerio Berkovics, ontwerper van vele trendy plaatsen..
Op 3 niveaus kunnen we een mooie rondleiding doen in het restaurant. Het eerste is het gebied van de pianobar en de aanblik van deze kamer. Comfortabel zittend op een bankje of 2-zitsbank, kunt u het komen en gaan gadeslaan van vaste bezoekers en van jongens in het zwart gekleed. De serveersters zijn echter meer flash, vrouwelijk en elegant. We hebben het gevoel dat het beleid daar niets aan het toeval overlaat ... We komen aan in de bar met een aantal fantastische hoge stoelen om lekker in te gaan zitten, de verlichting, niet psychedelisch, maar avant-garde, met, blijkbaar, 16 miljoen kleuren! (Heb ik niet geteld!) De jonge barman speelt met zijn shakers, en ik krijg een kleurrijke cocktail van geheim fabricaat! Het begint goed ...
En rechts naast de bar, een zachte zoete ruimte die kan worden gewijd aan de diners voor mensen die geloven in de liefde. Het lijkt er zo intiem en gezellig. Een aaneenschakeling van banken (waar de kenners met gretig verlangen naar kijken), ideaal voor een face to face gesprek.
Videoschermen zijn ingebed in de muren, op welke originele beelden worden verspreid, en waarin men kan ontsnappen als je een aantal onderwerpen van gesprek mist met je huidige gesprekspartner ...
Aangekomen op de verhoging, komt men in een meer sobere, rustige ruimte, gewijd aan discussies die specifiek zijn voor business onderhandelingen in restaurants. De sfeer is weer anders door een combinatie van zwart en wit op de muren, terwijl de plafondverlichting de danspiste verlicht voor de zaterdagavond koorts.
Wat de keuken betreft daar is de priester Guillaume, die reputatie heeft gemaakt in grote etablissement in Parijs zoals de Ritz, Crillon, Maxim's, Pierre Cardin, Bernard Loiseau of familie van Rothschild: allen hadden vertrouwen in hem tot op de dag van vandaag en dat ook in de nieuwe modernste restaurants. Hij heeft wortels geschoten in Parijs meest culinaire heiligdommen. . En hij is heel succesvol! We waren in staat om in Japanse stijl gemaakte tonijn rollen te proeven, met een smaak en een frisheid die ons verrassend lieten genieten. The Black Cod, een zeer zeldzame vis uit een andere wereld, verbaasde me, en die met zijn "zwarte rijst"een "aanbidding" blijkt te zijn.
De presentatie van de gerechten is rustgevend, en dit is ook het decor van de oorspronkelijke Music Hall: op geen enkele manier belemmert het de kwaliteit of kwantiteit, en het is verrassend om er te eten, of het nu een mode of top restaurant is, of er nu een amateur gastronomische keuken is, je raakt steeds enorm gehecht aan het traditionele aanbod van bepaalde gerechten!
De desserts: drie bakkers werken met "harde hand" aan de kaart! De specialiteit van het huis: de Avalanche, de pistach macarons met verse heerlijk smakende frambozen, en de zeer exclusieve Havana, bestaand uit een echt tabaksblad, met karamel overgoten en vergezeld van ijs, meringue en verse peer, zonder angst voor kanker ... Dit alles wordt prachtig gepresenteerd en met een uitzonderlijke reputatie waarvan het etablissement al genoot.
We bezochten de keuken, waar een leger van mensen werkt in stilte. Overigens, de chef kok heeft zowel mij de nieuwste saus in ontwerp laten proeven, als ook de eigenaar van dit meest excentrieke restaurant in Parijs, want hier u zult begrijpen, de recepten zijn vrij innovatief. "Te veel zout! ", zei hij. Let op de baas maakt zich zorgen over de details.
Tot slot worden er regelmatig evenementen gehouden in het restaurant:
Goocheltrucs met Mathieu, helderziendheid avonden met Magdalena, maar ook muzikale avonden: jazz, pop, of romantisch, zoals met de pianist Sergio of DJ Nicolas: zij maken de sfeer en worden vergezeld van een nooit overdreven akoestische niveau, dat vandaag de dag zeer zeldzaam is en meest waardevol.
Lunch in het restaurant Music Hall, is het ook mogelijk om van de formule op 18 € (voorgerecht / hoofdgerecht of hoofdgerecht / dessert), of 24 € , het voordeel drie gerechten te eten of in ontvangst nemen, omdat de keuken u meeneemt naar dezelfde smaken die in huis te vinden zijn. Hier ben ik klaar met deze Music Hall, een nieuwe generatie van restaurants waarvan ik hoop dat dit ideeën geven voor vele anderen, want in Parijs nu staat alles een beetje stil!

During the week end at the Music Hall, things get crazy but you don't feel bump into like many trendy places, hopefully we had the good idea to make a reservation. The service is good from the welcome to the dessert. Products are fresh, kinda original in their presentations for cocktails and desserts. The Dj plays excellent music that gets more present during the night. We don't need to speak loud to communicate, the volume is never to high. A rare thing nowadays. The final touch comes from the pianist who plays really good parts. Honestly except the cold valet I don't see any bad side in this house. Concerning the price, we paid less than 50€ per person all inclusive which is a good value for money: we ate well, drank well laughed a lot and sang a lot.

It's not always easy to find a place for a group of 60 guys from my company who decided to privatize a trendy place to sip, diner, chit chat and even to have a good time without thinking about work. I finally find the dream place: The Music Hall, very modern (my boss' image was important), well located (Champs Elysées), with a 21st century cuisine (a 4 star chef) and a courteous welcome. The Music Hall literally blew our minds.

The setting is very nice, warm like we like, particularly during winter nights! The welcome is perfect, the service is very caring and discreet. It's a very good value for money with the 18€ lunch menu, unbeatable in the area! We ate very well, the desserts are awesome, i recommend the avalanche

I often have dinner at the Music Hall with my lover, the setting is sumptuous and the cuisine is excellent, from the black Cod to the roasted veal without forgetting the original desserts like the avalanche (for 2) ! A great ambiance with a Dj who plays good music. The 5 stars are honestly earned.

We've been talking about it for a long time... It's great, simply great. From the valet to the dessert, the perfection. Original, colorful, tasty and not that expensive... The recipes are magic. The Music Hall chef makes dishes that are inventive, good and very well-presented. And the service magically follow the movement. People are nice and smiley. In a word: sensational!

Unforgettable night, the lights setting makes us feel a multitude of different ambiances. The cuisine is excellent, but there still a hitch, the desserts card isn't original enough. 5 stars service: doormen and valets open the gates to this luminous palace. The waiters are thoughtful, we feel privileged. To sum up very chic and trendy in the same time. Perfect!

Second visit in this beautiful restaurant. This time again, it's just delicious. The lunch formula is really affordable so I'm afraid it's gonna be less good than during the dinner and... it's as good as at night but it's way less expensive. We only pay 25€ per person whereas for dinner we spent twice more! The lunch formula magic works! There's nothing else to say than bravo to the chef.

Little chic spot where you can have a drink or eat a sober dish. The music is good, the service very satisfying and the setting amazing, woodwork and mirrors on the walls, black marble on the floor, very light lightings.

The welcome is warm and the service is perfect, i loved the snake seats (is it real snake?), the setting is romantic and really blissful. The dishes are wonderful and the price is justified considering the address.

Excellent brunch that i discovered by luck since i live only one street away... Too bad i used to go very far every sunday to enjoy a good brunch! My kids who are usually never happy didn't say a word and i haven't see then for the whole afternoon. They watch cartoons on the big screens while enjoying the buffet and they even met some new little friends. I had peace for a few hours, yeah!! The Music Hall Brunch rocks!!!

I thing we can truly enjoy this place more during an event. It's not always musical, sometimes there isn't any pianist. I liked the rapidity and the quality of the service which is way better than the average. Plus, the setting is very trendy, it's nice for a romantic dinner a little less for an official event. The dishes quality is excellent, the cocktails are delicious and the avalanche is the best desserts I've ever tried. I recommend.

A perfect mix of savors in a very beautiful setting with all of the lights that gives this restaurant a particular atmosphere. The menu is rich and dishes are delicious, the staff is very cool. I highly recommend this place.

Late dinner a friday the 13 th after being to the theater. Nice welcome, funny and pleasant setting (even it's over crouded), inventive exquisite cuisine (the veal liver is amazing). The dishes' presentation is exceptional, quality wine and champagne and good service. A minus for the unavailability of some dishes :( too bad no lobster and no more piano after 11pm (an audio selection instead...). Nevertheless great dinner.

I loved this restaurant. First, it's like we are in a new dimension, with all of the lights it's amazing. The changing colors give me a thrill, it's so peaceful and then we realize where we are. Just great! The dishes are a success and after the main course i feel light and I'm nearly no longer hungry. The dessert is a bliss. Nothing else to say, it's almost perfection. The waiters are nice, smiling and the check is indeed expensive but reasonable (110€ for 2). My partner is as satisfied as I am, we'll definitely be back. Fantasia

Perfect black cod, a rare fish that only a few restaurants serves. Ultra fresh salmon rolls, melting like a piece of paradise. And the Berlicot, this white chocolate with raspberry dessert, surprised us with it's unusual presentation and its wonderful taste. The setting is as good as the dishes, and the check? What check? When it's such a great food experience we don't even matter about it, it's a good value for money so it's a win win situation.

A very good welcome in this surprisingly beautiful restaurant, a sophisticated scrumptious cuisine. The chef's testing menu is grandiose, don't hesitate just try it. We had an amazing time.

At the MH we are properly welcome the dishes are tasty and elegant and also different from the other places. Just to mention the incredible desserts and the setting which deserves the good reviews. The dishes and the desserts are original and uncommon. On the other hand it's a bit pricey (166€ for 4) but it worth it totally.

It's a very good restaurant that you can get addicted to very easilly. Hard to have dinner in another place after tasting it. Indeed with my wife and 2 kids we had a wonderful time. The setting is futuristic and these lights... A must see especially for the kids we had never seen something like that before. The meat is tender and my 11 years old son ate all his meal for once. The desserts were very impressive and days after the kids are still talking about them. The staff is charming, caring and nice.

To begin the setting surprised me in the good way, it reminded me 2001: A space odyssey. The futuristic restaurant, I'm expecting some futuristic food like molecular food or some tasteless cuisine. But I'm wrong, the dishes are colorful and well presented with fresh products. The beef fillet was perfectly cooked. The crab excellent (even if I'm not a crustacean specialist) and the dessert LE-GEN-DARY!!! Try the berlicot. White chocolate and raspberry. Smiley staff, thee waitresses are wearing dresses and high heels which is better then the usual pair of jeans and sneakers waitresses. What about the check I hear you ask. Not that expensive regarding all these elements. The MH is classy and tasty, you need to know it!!

That's just sensational! Another world, that's the feeling we had while entering in this futuristic place that could be The welcome is elegant, maybe too official for a fashion restaurant but it's always better than some snobbish poorly dress staff. A waitress wearing a min-skirt shows us our table and then take our order and give us some recommendations. And surprise!! It's eatable and very refined, a very researched presentation. The testing menu is truly enchanting. Then the check arrives and it's honest and justified. A little reproach: on Saturdays it's too crowded, pick another day.
